Covering up

The next stage was to cover the case in its hull, this is the result - carbon at the rear and aluminium at the front:

These were very expensive to make, the carbon is about 100 Euros for a square meter! The second picture above shows the back panel; one and a half square meters of finest carbon on a HDF plate between two strips on aluminium.

Though not really necessary I ordered moisture-resistant plates from Aqua-computer for a the inside face of the plate, an easy way to reduce the noise a case makes - the openness of the design of this case does make it's application here somewhat redundant however. The plates in place showing the nice logo of my main sponsor!

It's a bit of a shame to hide the carbon under stickers but the final results looks great:
